Side Tracked…

Ok, you asked for it – so here it is.

To get to dinner, we opted to take the free bus (as our feet were super tired). We must have got on the short bus, because, boy was that driver slow! Plus, we ended up riding out to points that we didn’t need to go to (they were in the opposite direction). We also sat on the bus excessive amounts at the stops,only to see the next bus pull up behind us as we left! As we were pulling away, the crowd spotted something…something unusual and never seen in the 48 continguous United States, a rare animal…deer. Yes, in an instant 20 cameras were out and the driver slowed to a stop to allow another 20 more to come out and take multiple pictures of these animals. We sat there long enough to watch one of them relieve himself and I’m sure one of the people got a video of it. The whole ordeal was spectacularly ridiculous. Morgan and I could only laugh at how long the ride was taking at this point. Actually, we were on this bus SO long that we watched everybody else who boarded de-board before we reached the restaurant. What should have been a 10-min walk turned into a 40-min bus ride. But the full rack (of ribs) we had at the end was worth the wait. Oh and yes, on the way back, we did take the bus again.
